Vivo brand popularity is quite good in the offline market and Vivo Y200 5G has become quite popular offline. Additionally, it has seen good sales in the online market. In October of the previous year, after the launch of the Y200 5G, Vivo has once again launched another new smartphone in the Y200 series, named Vivo Y200e 5G. Let’s know about the newly launched Vivo Y200e 5G smartphone.

The phone comes in 2 different colors – Saffron Delight (Leather) & Black Diamond (Plastic), one wrapped in Eco Leather and the other plastic matte finish. IP54 and IPX4 are supported for Dust & Splash Protection. The leather version is 6.5 g heavier and 0.2 mm thicker than the plastic version, both are comes with a 2.5D flat design.
The phone is covered by a 6.64-inch FullHD+ E4 AMOLED panel, which supports a maximum 120 Hz refresh rate. 1200 nits (HBM) high brightness helps to keep the phone’s display very bright in sunny places. The peak brightness of the phone touches 1800 nits. The brightness has been upgraded from the previous Y200 5G model where the peak brightness was 800 nits.
Talking about performance, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC which is made of 4 nm technology. It’s runs Android V14 which is based on Funtouch OS 14.0. Hopefully the phone will get the Mejor OS software update up to Android V16. There is LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 support for RAM and Storage.
It comes with a 3-camera setup at the rear, of which the main sensor is 50 Megapixels and the other two are 2 MP bokeh + a flicker sensor. The front camera is equipped with a 16 MP sensor. Both rear and front can capture maximum 1080p @30fps video.
The 4800 mAh battery previously found in the Y200 5G has been slightly upgraded to 5000 mAh (Li-ion) in the Y200e and like the previous model the phone supports 44 W FlashCharge which can charge the phone to 32% in 15 minutes. A 44 Watt charger can be found inside the box.
Other features include optical in-display fingerprint sensor, microSDXC slot expandable up to 1TB (Hybrid slot), dual stereo speakers Hi-Res Audio certified (the previous Y200 5G model had a single speaker), also 8 5G bands and up to 8GB of virtual RAM expandability.
The phone comes in two variants 6GB + 128GB priced at Rs 19,999 and 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs 20,999. It will be available on Amazon and Flipkart from February 27.
